Mineral Salt Lick Block (also known as salt lick block) is a block‑form feed additive specially developed for ruminants including cattle and sheep. It is intended for free‑access licking to supply essential mineral nutrition for livestock.

Main Ingredients

• Base carrier: Mainly sodium chloride (common salt), which provides essential sodium and chlorine for animals.
• Macro‑elements: Calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and others to support bone development.
• Trace elements: Iron, copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, cobalt, etc., to meet the body’s micro‑nutritional requirements.
• Binder: Molasses or bentonite is normally added to make the block compact and wear‑resistant against licking.
