Applications of Calcium Citrate：

1. Pharmaceutical & Clinical Applications

(1) Calcium Supplement & Deficiency Treatment Used for prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency in children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women, and the elderly.

Suitable for patients with hypochlorhydria, atrophic gastritis, and those taking acid-suppressing drugs (e.g., proton pump inhibitors).

(2) Skeletal Health Osteoporosis: combined with vitamin D to increase bone mineral density and reduce fracture risk in postmenopausal women and elderly patients.

Osteomalacia & Rickets: assists in bone mineralization and improves bone metabolism disorders.

Helps relieve symptoms such as muscle spasms, leg cramps and bone pain caused by calcium deficiency.

(3) Other Clinical Uses Adjuvant therapy for hyperphosphatemia in chronic kidney disease by binding dietary phosphate.

Used in the treatment of hypoparathyroidism to maintain normal blood calcium levels.
