NMN emerges as a new trend in health consumption.

As the global aging process continues to intensify, oral anti-aging products have evolved from a niche segment into a major growth engine in the health consumption sector. Market data reveals that the global market size of NMN and related anti-aging supplements has exceeded $48 billion, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 37% in the past three years.
This shift in demand is clearly evidenced by data. According to the latest report by Global Growth Insights, the global market for longevity and anti-aging therapies reached $30.56 billion in 2025 and is projected to expand to $78.97 billion by 2035. Focusing on the oral anti-aging niche, as of the first quarter of 2026, the global market size of NMN and related supplements has surpassed $48 billion, maintaining a CAGR of over 37% in the past three years, with the Chinese market accounting for approximately 42% of the incremental share.
Of greater significance is the profound transformation in consumer attitudes. Surveys indicate that 83% of consumers proactively check ingredient information and research literature before purchasing, and 67% of users state they are "willing to pay a higher premium for scientifically validated products." This signifies that the oral anti-aging market is transitioning from marketing-driven to research-driven.
Behind this consumption upgrade lies the continuous breakthroughs in scientific research on the mechanisms of aging. In 2024, Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology published a review pointing out that aging is jointly driven by 12 hallmarks, including genomic instability, mitochondrial dysfunction, and cellular senescence, representing a systematic process involving multiple pathways and targets.
Take NAD+ depletion as an example—As a core coenzyme in cellular energy metabolism, the decline in NAD+ levels is indeed a key driver of aging, but not the sole one. If only NMN is supplemented to boost NAD+ while ignoring issues such as mitochondrial damage and accumulated oxidative stress, the anti-aging effect will inevitably be limited.
This also explains why the first-generation single-ingredient NMN products generally face the dilemma of "insignificant user experience." An industry consensus is emerging: the ideal anti-aging strategy should not be a "single-pronged assault," but a "joint operation of multiple forces."

Data from JD Health shows that in 2025, the search volumes for keywords such as "compound formula," "complexation," and "multi-target" in the NMN category increased by 156%, 112%, and 89% year-on-year respectively. The 2026 Imported Health Products Consumption Trend Report released by Tmall Global also notes that "ingredient complexation" has surpassed "high content" to become the top factor influencing consumer decisions.

On the regulatory front, at the end of 2025, the U.S. FDA formally restored NMN’s legal status as a dietary supplement, injecting strong momentum into the global NMN industry. China’s regulatory framework is also accelerating its improvement. Brands with complete toxicology data and internationally recognized certifications will continue to expand their market share, while “conceptual” products lacking technical support will be phased out at an accelerated pace.
According to projections, the global market size of healthy aging supplements is expected to grow from $1.65 billion in 2025 to $2.36 billion in 2030, with the Asia-Pacific region set to become the fastest-growing regional market. For consumers, choosing NMN products is no longer a numerical game of ingredient content, but a comprehensive evaluation of a brand’s technical strength, formulation logic, and quality control standards—this may well be the best footnote to the maturity of the oral anti-aging market.
